1. Complete at least two of the following classes (one of the courses will fulfill an MISM requirement, and the other will fulfill three elective credits):

- IS 582: Tech Strategy and Leadership
2. In addition, complete the following required courses, as well as all other required BS IS/MISM courses:
Fall Semester:
- HRM 540: Org. Effectiveness
- IS 550: MISM Capstone Introduction*
Winter Semester:
- MSB 572: Ethics for IS Managers
- IS 552: MISM Capstone*
Any Semester:
- STRAT 560: Strategy and Economics
*Capstone project should integrate as many of the concepts of the leadership track classes as is practical)
3. Complete 15 additional elective credits relevant to starting or managing a business. Examples of courses are shown below. Note that some of these courses may require instructor approval.
- Any course for Requirement 1 that you have not yet taken
- Entrepreneurship (ENT) classes with a class number greater than 300 that are available to non-majors
- MBA classes that are available to non-majors (https://gradstudies.byu.edu/courses/business-administration)
- Sandbox courses (https://creators.byu.edu/sandbox/sandbox)
- Students participating in the Founders Launchpad with the Rollins Center, and other students interested in working on their own business in a mentored/coached class for credit (IS 693R, ENT 434R)

- FIN 520 Business Finance
- FIN 514 Silver Fund
- HRM 413 Managerial Leadership Development
All other MISM-required elective coursework hours remain the same as the non-track program. Not all classes are offered every semester.
