Financial corruption and scandal often seem like hallmarks of today’s society, but a group of Marriott School students is seeking to combat this problem by providing ethics education to future professionals.

Move over, USA Today. It’s time to add another app to the favorites list — the iPad version of Marriott Alumni Magazine. Looking to increase convenience and ease of access for readers, the Marriott School of Management released the digital edition including the current issue and all 2012 issues.

One by one, 10 students stood in front of hundreds of peers and a panel of prominent business executives, introduced themselves and presented their career plans — all hoping to win the first ever Marriott School of Management My Plan competition.

The Marriott School of Management presented Michael Swenson, Ford Motor Company Professor of Marketing, with its highest distinction — the 2011 Outstanding Faculty Award — at the annual Marriott School Awards Night held March 9. In addition to Swenson, 14 others were recognized for their dedicated service to the school.

Pick up the Fall 2010 Marriott Alumni Magazine and you will no doubt notice something different — very different. On the eve of its 35th anniversary, the magazine has received a makeover. The completely redesigned publication will offer its engaging content in a new, bolder and even more inviting way.

Brigham Young University is ranked 75th in the 2011 edition of U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges," with the Marriott School of Management's undergraduate program ranked among the top 50 "Best Business Programs," coming in at 34th.

BYU is ranked No. 11 in the country for schools whose graduates were the top-rated by recruiters, The Wall Street Journal reported today.
