The Whitmore Global Fellows Program recognizes and supports faculty who help advance our vision for every BYU Marriott student to engage in an international experience that enables them to positively benefit themselves and the world.
As a Whitmore Global Fellow, you will receive:
- An annual fellowship stipend of $2,000
- Recognition as a Whitmore Global Fellow
- Opportunities to collaborate with Whitmore Center leadership, faculty, advisory board members, and industry partners
- Access to a network that can help generate new ideas, partnerships, experiential learning opportunities, and scholarly collaborations
Ways Fellows Engage
Whitmore Global Fellows are recognized for their ongoing contributions to global business education and experiential learning. Fellows continue to partner with the Center in ways that align with their interests, expertise, and professional goals. Examples include:
- Student Engagement: Mentoring students and supporting professional development initiatives
- Experiential Learning: Participating in study abroad programs, international internships, global projects, and other experiential learning opportunities
- Academic Engagement: Teaching and supporting courses that contribute to the Global Business Certificate, participating in GlobalHub initiatives, and sharing expertise through guest lectures, collaboration, and related academic activities
- Industry & Advisory Board Engagement: Engaging with the Whitmore Center Advisory Board and industry partners to strengthen opportunities for students and faculty
Appointment
Fellows are appointed for a one-year term and may be renewed annually based on continued engagement and contribution to the Center’s mission.
