    This week teams from 40 schools within 10 countries will compete for more than $150,000 to fund their businesses at the International Business Model Competition.     Marriott School of Management student Derek Johnson raised the winning trophy after securing the Founder’s Choice award and the overall win at the Miller New Venture Challenge final. Nine other companies also walked away with prize money totaling $205,000 in cash and in-kind prizes, making this the biggest year in the competition’s history.

    Brigham Young University's entrepreneurship students are among the most prepared for success in self-started businesses, reports The Princeton Review's survey for Entrepreneur magazine. BYU's Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology graduate and undergraduate programs came in a No. 3 and No. 6, respectively. This is the third straight year both programs have made it into the top 10, with the undergraduate program moving up one spot.
