Why Participate?

The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is to encourage and recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance, and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service, and association among members and practicing professionals; and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility. Students in Beta Alpha Psi:

  • Contribute 800 minutes annually toward building their professional careers through attending networking dinners, interviews, BAP meetings, meet-the-firms events, and other professional events
  • Contribute 800 minutes annually of participation in service activities including Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Deloitte’s Sub for Santa, Habitat for Humanity, and other service events
