Register for Convocation—March 28

Convocation Pack Pickup Update

Graduates needed to complete the convocation registration process online by March 28 (Convocation pack pickup is no longer required). Instructions on how to complete the registration process were sent to each graduate’s BYU email.

For questions about registering for convocation, please email marriottgraduation@byu.edu.

Convocation Stage Pass

Upon completing convocation registration, graduates were emailed a stage pass. The stage pass is a digital version of the traditional printed graduate card, uniquely assigned to each grad with a QR code. This code is scanned as graduates walk across the stage to display and announce their name. Graduates must have their stage pass with them at convocation.

Upon receiving the stage pass, it is recommend that graduates do one (or more) of the following:

  1. Save it to your digital wallet
  2. Take a screenshot and save it to your camera roll
  3. Download and print a paper copy to bring to convocation
  4. Optional: If you completed registration before the deadline, you can pick up a pre-populated sticker from the convocation help desk on April 24 (12–4 p.m.) in W408/410 TNRB. This sticker can be placed inside your regalia for easy access to your stage pass during the ceremony.
