Acceptance to the SEP is for fall (September-December) and winter (January-April) semesters only and is based on reciprocity with your home institution.

  • Commitment to the mission of BYU and its sponsoring organization, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
    • Membership in the Church of Jesus Christ is not required for admittance to the program, but an understanding of and a commitment to support the church’s mission while studying for a semester at BYU are necessary. Please refer to the church’s website and the BYU Honor Code site for additional information about the mission of the church and BYU.
