The experience design content came primarily from the Stanford d.school and the Rossman and Duerden’s Designing Experiences book. In 2019-2020 cases were written up with detailed case reports. The emphasis or the write ups were to focus on making sound business decisions based on quality evaluation with tight strong writing. Capstone Project: This assignment has been reviewed by ExDM faculty and tied into ExDM 422’s final project. ExDM faculty have reviewed the assignment and offered suggestions on how to improve it. In addition, after the course was completed, feedback from students was given about how to improve the assignment. The assignment and students final project have been shared with industry leaders from Qualtrics, Tempkin Group, and SAP to gain insight on how to better help students prepare for the careers. The assignment’s narrative description was changed to aid students in understanding specifically the targeted goals of the assignment.Performance Levels Case Studies: Average case scores will be 85% or better. Students graduating from the program shall demonstrate, through a comprehensive internship of no less than four hundred clock hours and no fewer than ten weeks, the potential to succeed as professionals at supervisory or higher levels in park, recreation, tourism, or related organizations.
