The Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC) consists of 40 young alumni who exemplify the vision, mission, and values of BYU Marriott and have graduated within the last 10 years. These alumni, known as young professional leaders (YPLs), are focused on helping every job-seeking student leave BYU Marriott prepared to be a leader in their careers.
YPAC Roles and Responsibilities
YPLs work in conjunction with the BYU Marriott Business Career Center (BCC) career advisors to:
- Assist the BCC in helping job-seeking students with networking and placement.
- Advise BYU Marriott and BCC leadership on recruiting best practices and industry trends.
- Advocate within their company and industry for BYU Marriott students.
How to Engage with the YPAC
If you are a BYU Marriott student wanting to engage with a YPL for networking, micromentoring, mock interviews, and résumé reviews, or to invite a YPL to present, please follow the YPAC engagement guidelines. See the YPAC directory to learn more about each YPL.
