How to Enroll

Please contact us at to receive our registration process email or for any questions you may have.

*To finalize the enrollment process, you MUST attend NSCO (step 3), or schedule an appointment to meet with a cadre member, otherwise we will not see your account in WINGS.

Step 1. Register for courses through your respective university (all three or four classes as listed according to your intended program length as determined by your projected graduation year).

AEROS 190R (optional, but highly recommended)

*All AEROS/AERO classes follow the BYU academic calendar.

**UVU students must create a BYU Net ID here.

Step 2. Complete the enrollment process through WINGS.

  • Answer the screening questions and enter in any civil involvements.
  • Complete the required paperwork via AdobeSign (link will be sent to those registered for AFROTC classes listed above). Please follow instructions closely when filling out the paperwork. It might seem tedious, but doing so demonstrates you have the attention to detail required of a future officer! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
  • By completing the paperwork via AdobeSign, you do not need to download the paperwork from WINGS when asked, just click finished printing. Please either schedule an appointment to bring it to our office (380 Wells ROTC Building, Brigham Young University) or bring it with you to New Student Cadet Orientation (NSCO). Do not sign any documents needing a witness signature until you are in their presence. The AFROTC Cadre will sign as the witness on those documents.
  • You will also need to bring in your original birth certificate and social security card (we will not copy or keep these, but we have to see the originals). If you have certificates for Eagle Scout, JROTC, or Civil Air Patrol, please bring those as well.

Step 3. Attend AFROTC New Student Cadet Orientation

  • Our orientation is held twice a year: once prior to the start of the fall semester and once prior to the start of the BYU winter/UVU spring semester. If you cannot attend orientation on the date offered, please let us know. If you are registered for the AFROTC classes, you will receive an email with the details. You may also contact us at for more information. Event details can be found here.
