Professional Development
The face of global business is constantly changing. In order for our faculty to keep ahead of the curve, BYU sponsors a variety of development programs to help you learn about new areas of the world or keep knowledge and skills sharp.
International Academic Conferences
The Whitmore Center can partially fund faculty members to attend international conferences to present papers and develop international research contacts. Faculty should illustrate in their proposal ways in which they might be able to share key learning with other faculty, staff, and students on campus. Faculty should also demonstrate how this opportunity might impact international curriculum development and future academic research possibilities.
If you’re a faculty member interested in presenting at an international business conference:
- Once you have determined that the paper you wish to present has an international scope, complete and submit the Faculty Development in International Business (FDIB): Conference Presenter Request for Funding form.
