Biography
Spencer Hilton is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Information Systems Department in the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. Prof. Hilton joined the faculty at BYU after 12 years in the Computer Science Department at Weber State University, where he served as the CS Davis Program Coordinator, Computer Science Program Coordinator, and as Department Chair of the School of Computing. Before being hired into a full-time position at Weber State University, he worked for MarketStar Corporation as a Business Intelligence Analyst & Data Specialist. Prior to MarketStar, Prof. Hilton worked as a software engineer for a small business called TrakMate that specialized in CRM software for car dealerships.
Prof. Hilton holds an MBA, a BS degree in Computer Science, a BA degree in Communication / Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration, and an AAS in Computer Science, all from Weber State University.
He currently resides in Mapleton, Utah, with his wife Tiffany and four children. He loves people, reading, golf, seeing new places, and spending time with his family.
