Biography
After graduating from BYU's MISM program in 2011, Merrill spent 15 years at USAA which took his family to San Antonio, TX and Phoenix, AZ. Working in the Financial Services industry, he enjoyed roles in data engineering, machine learning, IT architecture, and most recently generative artificial intelligence. Merrill is absolutely thrilled to return to the Information Systems department as an Associate Teaching Professor and is eager to contribute to BYU's mission.
