SIGNING UP
- Complete the form below and enter all relevant information. Please be as specific as possible when describing your research areas/projects and the skills you need. Remember to request a minimum of one student from the program.
- Await pairing. Please watch for emails containing introductions of potential RAs and transfer information from the program manager. Thank you for responding in a timely manner.
- Assist and receive assistance from these students. We appreciate your help with enriching the student experience and strengthening our student-centric approach in carrying out this amazing program!
WHAT FACULTY SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE PAIRING PROCESS
- Students will be able to see your submissions to the Microsoft Form. They will indicate preferences and interests to the program manager at the beginning of the Marriott Research Fellows program.
- Following completion of training, pairing is initiated by the program manager. MRF-RA and faculty mentor matches are made according to relevant and communicated interests and skills.
- Know that the pairing process can take time as emails are exchanged and RAs are transferred.
Note: If you are a faculty mentor, have signed up, have been waiting for an MRF student, and need one ASAP, please contact the program manager.
REQUEST TRAINING FOR YOUR RESEARCH ASSISTANT
To request Marriott Research Fellows training for a research assistant you have already hired, please contact us to ascertain when the soonest available seat is in the next cohort. Students already hired by faculty cannot receive ongoing support of MRF funds after the Friday course trainings are complete.
