The BYU Marriott School of Business at BYU is proud to present the High School Business Language Competition (HSBLC). The HSBLC provides an opportunity for high school students to apply their business and language skills outside their school environment. This competition will also provide students with an opportunity to develop their presentation skills in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, or Spanish and utilize their creative skills while developing a business plan.

The 2023 IS Alumni Tailgate is a FREE event for Alumni and Students! Join us for: FREE Baby Cougar Tails, networking opportunities, games, giveaways, game-day tattoos, and MORE! And yes, COSMO will be coming for pictures from 5:30-6:00 pm.
The program will include several research presentation sessions in which participants (especially doctoral students and new faculty) will present papers or proposals for research.
In each session we will encourage and allocate sufficient time for constructive audience participation and feedback. In addition, we are planning panel discussions and keynote speakers.

On Aug 31-Sep 2, 2023, the BYU MBA Human Resources Student Association will host our annual track trip to Bear Lake. HR students, faculty, and recruiters will spend three days together networking, participating in water activities, and touring Minnetonka caves.

The Graduate Entrepreneur Association (GEA) is excited to host a retreat for all GEA members as part of orientation this year! Retreat dates are Thursday, August 31 – Saturday, September 2. We have planned a full schedule of fun and engaging experiences!
The purpose of the GEA Retreat is twofold: (1) to build relationships between new and existing MBA students, and (2) to provide meaningful networking opportunities with startup entrepreneurs, VCs, and growth-stage companies. To best achieve the dual purpose of the GEA Retreat, we will be staying local in Utah County (this also helps minimize cost!).

The BYU Marriott Case Competition allows the Deans to hear ideas from the student body in order to understand the needs and wants of students. The prompt is selected by the BYU Marriott Deans in order to focus the case on topics that are important to them.
