Through participation as research subjects, students greatly aid faculty publications in top academic journals. Information regarding subject participation is outlined below according to subject pool.
Extra Credit Subject Pool
The extra credit subject pool includes BYU Marriott students enrolled in classes where their professors offer extra credit in exchange for participation in research studies. To sign up for research studies, the students must go to the SONA website and log in using the username and password emailed to them at the beginning of the semester. Students can allocate their credits from studies to different classes on the SONA site as well. Paid Subject Pool
For adults living in or near Provo, the Marketing and Behavioral Research Lab offers the opportunity to participate as paid research subjects. The rate for paid participants is $5 for every thirty minutes. Paid participants do not need to be students. Most studies take place on BYU campus.
