Conducting Interviews 

Interviewing on campus allows current BYU students to interview for jobs and internships without having to leave campus. Hundreds of employers come to BYU campus to conduct interviews for internships and entry-level positions. 

Request an interview on campus via Handshake

  1. From your home page, select “Request an Interview.” Fill out the required information. Make sure to select the most applicable career center bin. 
  2. Select your preferred timeline. Use “Preselect” if you want to reserve a room and also create the interview schedule in Handshake. Use “Room Only” if you only want to reserve the room in Handshake and then set up the interview schedule outside of Handshake on the company’s website. 
  3. Attach the job(s) that you will be interviewing for. If you are interviewing for multiple jobs on the same day, you will need to attach each job separately. Once you post and attach your job(s), students can begin to apply and prepare for interviews.
