Biography:

Eve and Rick Whitmore have longstanding ties to BYU and to the Marriott School of Business. Eve attended BYU studying social work. She and Rick met, married, and started a family while at BYU. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the early 1970s. Together, Eve and Rick generously support educational and Church priorities. They have been members of the BYU Marriott School National Advisory Council since 2006 and joined the President’s Leadership Council in 2025. They have four children and ten grandchildren and reside in Knoxville, Tennessee. They visit campus regularly in support of the Marriott School, the Whitmore Global Business Center, and the Chemical Engineering department, always with a focus on expanding the global footprint of BYU.
