Biography:

Chris Eyre is now partner emeritus at Legacy Venture, a venture capital fund of funds with commitments approaching $2 billion. Funds are placed in a select group of premier venture firms. As liquidity occurs, principal and gains are directed by investors to philanthropic causes. Previously, Chris was one of the early venture capitalists in Silicon Valley as a founding partner of Merrill Pickard Anderson & Eyre, the pioneering venture firm that evolved from Bank of America. Chris has served on the boards of numerous public, private, and non-profit organizations. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and his MBA from Harvard Business School. Chris and Hedy presided over the Canada Toronto East Mission from 2008-2011. They have five children and a growing portfolio of 20 marvelous grandchildren.
