Josh Porter is managing partner at SummitRun Advisors LLC, a boutique private equity advisory and investment firm. Previously, he spent 17 years at Advantage Partners, a Tokyo-based private equity firm, four years at UBS Securities in New York and Tokyo, and three years at RBC Capital Markets in San Francisco. Josh earned his bachelor’s degree from BYU and his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also studied at Sophia University in Tokyo as a Monbusho Scholar. Josh and Kara have three children.
