Biography:

Todd S. Nelson has served as chief executive officer and director of Education Management Corporation since February 2007. He also served as president from February 2007 to December 2008. Todd worked as an independent consultant from January 2006 through January 2007 and for Apollo Group Inc. from 1987 through January 2006. He served in various roles within Apollo Group Inc. and was appointed president in February 1998, CEO in August 2001, and chairman of the board in June 2004. He was a member of the faculty at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas from 1983 to 1984. Todd earned his bachelor’s degree from BYU in marketing.
