Biography:
James Long is CEO and partner at Apple Mountain, LLC. He was formerly EVP at Nortel Networks and a past board director of Cypress Semiconductor and NCR Corp., 3COM Corp., Symon Communications, and the Polynesian Cultural Center. He spent twenty-five years at IBM and retired in 1999 as executive vice president of Nortel Networks. He was president of Nortel World Trade and president of Nortel Enterprise Networks. Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in management from San Jose State University and served as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
