Biography:
Kay King has moved into the private sector. She works as a consultant and is on a number of boards, including The Lantos Foundation for Human Rights & Justice and the Madison House Autism Foundation. She retired as director of the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Interparliamentary Affairs, Senior Policy Advisor to the House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, and a principal at The Podesta Group. She has taught and done research at a number of universities in the United States and in Cairo and worked with the U.S. Congress from 1984-2010. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and her master’s degree and PhD from the University of California. Kay and Bob have three children and eleven grandchildren.
