Biography:
Robert Gay was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 31, 2012. He was given emeritus status on October 1, 2021. Previously he was managing director, cofounder, and CEO of Huntsman Gay Capital Partners, managing director of Bain Capital, executive vice president of General Electric Credit Corporation Capital Markets Group, vice president in the merchant banking group at Kidder Peabody, and an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company. Robert graduated from the University of Utah and earned his PhD from Harvard in business economics. Robert and Lynette have seven children.
