Biography:

Lane Beattie serves as president and CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber. He began his career as a real estate broker and land developer. In 1989 Lane was elected to fill a seat in the Utah State Legislature, where he served as senate majority whip, majority leader, and president of the Senate. In 2000 Lane began working as the chief state Olympic officer to oversee the state's involvement in the Salt Lake Winter Olympic Games. Lane and Joy have three children.
