Biography:

Michael Phelps is a managing partner and wealth advisor at Corient. He was previously the cofounder of a successful wealth management firm that was later acquired and integrated into Corient. Earlier in his career, Michael served as a senior vice president in the private banking & investment group at Merrill Lynch and as a senior accountant at Deloitte. He is a CPA (inactive). Before transferring to BYU, he was a backup quarterback on the 1994 Oregon Ducks Pac-10 Championship team that competed in the Rose Bowl. Michael earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from BYU. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, staying active, and reading.
