Biography:

Andrew Smith is the managing partner and cofounder of Savory Fund. Under Andrew’s leadership, Savory has grown to oversee assets exceeding $750 million. Before his journey with Savory, he co-founded three technology-centric enterprises between 1998 and 2008. Andrew then transitioned into the restaurant industry where he developed, acquired, and operated over 475 restaurants across a dozen states since 2008. Cumulatively, these establishments have raked in sales north of $2.7 billion, offering employment opportunities to over 40,000 individuals. In 2017, Andrew was conferred the esteemed EY Entrepreneur of the Year® award, closely followed by the KPMG’s Quantum Award, BusinessQ’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and the UV50 Triple Crown Award in 2018. He served in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo East Mission from 1996-1998. A family man at heart, Andrew has been happily married for 26 years to Shauna Smith, who was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. Together, they are proud parents of two boys and a wonderful daughter-in-law. Tobin is serving in the São Paulo South Mission. Christian, who is married to Taylor, is attending UVU and starting his first tech business.
