Biography:

Tom Burton is cofounder and strategic advisor at Health Catalyst. He has decades of experience in analytics, process improvement, and learning experience design. He was a member of the team that led Intermountain's nationally recognized improvements in quality care delivery and cost reductions. He has taught courses in the Toyota production system, Agile software development, healthcare improvement, and value based care. Tom is currently a guest lecturer at Stanford University, Brigham Young University, and Utah Valley University. Tom earned his bachelor's degree in computer science and his MBA from BYU. After his mission in Hamburg, Germany, Tom married Tricia Cardon. They have five children; their youngest is a current BYU student.
