Biography:

Mick W. Berry is a 1988 BYU Economics and 1990 BYU MPA graduate. Mick and Beth Chapman Berry (BYU BA 1986) were married in 1985 and have five children, including 3 BYU graduates and one current student. Mick ended his full-time career after 32 years in city and county management in 2022, having service the last 18 years as County Manager of Catawba County, North Carolina, and City Manager of Hickory, North Carolina. He currently works part-time with the Catawba County Economic Development Corporation.

Mick is a lifetime member of ICMA and the North Carolina City/County Management Association. He has served in numerous volunteer capacities in the community including extensive leadership roles in the local congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
