Job Title: Program Support SpecialistCompany: Brigham Young University
Biography:
Patricia (Tricia) Hobbs recently accepted a position as a Program Support Specialist with BYU’s Sorensen Center for Moral and Ethical Leadership. She works closely with students to fulfill the vision of the Sorensen Center, which is to inspire and equip individuals to lead people as Jesus Christ does.
Tricia was born and raised in Utah and attended Utah State University, where she earned her BS in Psychology and married her best friend, Klint. Together, they have four children. Tricia spent 18 wonderful and slightly exhausting years at home with her children. With all her kids in school or out of the house, she knew it was time to pursue her dream of a graduate degree. She was thrilled to be accepted into the MPA program in 2021 and graduated in 2023.
During her time in the MPA program, she made lifelong friends with fellow students half her age and acquired skills that will broaden her impact at home, at work, and at play. She was a TA for Organizational Behavior and developed a passion for building teams.
Tricia is an avid reader, loving anything historical, biographies about great leaders, and mysteries. She loves not having cell service in the mountains or on the beaches and loves to travel with her family.
