Biography:

Daniel grew up in the most beautiful place in the world, Cache Valley, Utah. In 1999, he graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management with a minor in German (Served mission in Leipzig, Germany). Daniel moved to the Salt Lake City Valley as he began his professional career in HR, working in a variety of industries including healthcare, restaurant & food services, hospitality and technology industries.

Daniel’s HR expertise includes Leadership, Talent Development, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Project Management and Mergers & Acquisitions. Currently, Daniel is working as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Sorenson Communications, an organization that proudly serves the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities by providing ASL, BSL, professional captioning, and written language translations through a combination of patented technology and people-centric services.

Daniel is a proud 2011 graduate of the BYU Romney Institute MPA program. The skills and education he received through the BYU MPA program have helped him tremendously throughout his life and professional career. He will always be grateful for the relationships he has made through the Romney Institute and the MPA program.
