Biography:

Daniel Chard has served as CEO of Medifast since October 2016 and as chairman since 2020. Prior to joining Medifast, Dan served as president and COO at PartyLite, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group. Dan also served as president, global sales & operations at Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc., and president of Nu Skin Europe. Prior to that he held positions at Recovery Engineering, The Pillsbury Company, and Arthur Andersen LLP. Dan earned his bachelor’s degree from BYU and his MBA from The University of Minnesota. Dan and Allyson have three daughters.
