Biography:

In 1998, Jill served her first college internship as a congressional intern in Washington, DC. The skills and knowledge she gained through that experience guided her on a career path dedicated to working in the public sector.

Jill’s actions demonstrate her commitment to having a positive impact on society and the public policy process. Early in her career, Jill served as a representative from Utah at the Women’s Leadership Summit, National Republican Senatorial Committee in Washington, DC. Later, she created the first women’s advisory board for a non-profit public policy think tank in Utah.

After graduating from the University of Utah, Jill served as the first Project Director at the Hinckley Institute of Politics for a political study abroad and service expedition to Kotwara, India.

Over her career, she has worked as an executive director for a local nonprofit, as a lobbyist and government affairs professional, and held leadership positions on several boards. Jill has also participated for over two decades as a member of Professional Republican Women and the Utah Federation of Republican Women, helping women network, strengthen their political resumes, and become more visible in their communities. Most recently, Jill has been involved with EDCUtah’s Center for Economic Opportunity and Belonging, serving on the Belong in Utah initiative and the New American’s Task Force partnership.
