Liz was born and raised in Washington state in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She made the trek to Utah in 2013 to study at Brigham Young University in Provo. Liz graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from BYU in 2016 and went to work in the mental health field at a residential treatment center. In 2018-2019, Liz served a Spanish-speaking mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Upon returning home from her mission, Liz married her best friend, Chad Lund. Liz continued working in the mental health field in an administrative capacity, which led her to pursue her Master of Public Administration credential. She was thrilled when she was accepted into Brigham Young University’s Romney Institute. During her time with the Romney Institute, Liz served as the student vice president of activities, a TA for Organizational Behavior, and completed a management internship with the city of Spanish Fork, Utah. She graduated with her MPA from BYU in 2022.

Liz is currently a full-time mom while working remotely as an Admissions Counselor for an adult residential treatment center, Corner Canyon Health Centers.
