Biography:
Emilee was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Utah State Uni-versity and received a Master’s of Public Administration from BYU.
After leaving the MPA program, Emilee spent a year consulting nonprofits, traveling, and substitute teaching. After a year, she decided to return to education and taught 2nd grade in Granite School District in Salt Lake City, Utah for 5 years. She recently switched to working in the financial sector as an agent and financial professional with New York Life Insurance Company. In her free time, she enjoys heading to the mountains for hiking or skiing, cheering on her favorite sports teams (Go Jazz!), and planning her next vacation.
