Bio

Suqi was born and raised in China. She participated in a foreign exchange student program in 3rd year of High School and was picked by a Utah host family. She applied for BYU as originally her family wanted her to study accounting. During freshman year in school she really enjoyed IS / CS classes and decided to apply for IS major. As international students the job opportunities are limited due to visa sponsorship requirements. After graduation, she first spent ~3.5 years doing technology consulting with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) focusing in CCN (Cloud, Compute, Network) areas. During one project working with the Google Cloud team, she found herself interested in exploring different roles in the industry, and took the offer to join Google Cloud as a Technical Account Manager in 2020.

In her spare time, she enjoys music production, piano, Guqin, yoga, diving, cooking, reading, etc.
