Biography:
Todd Sears serves as senior vice president and chief financial officer at Sam’s Club, a leading membership warehouse club. In this role, Todd leads a team of associates responsible for the financial operations that accelerate Sam’s Club’s growth ambition. Since joining Walmart in 2011, Todd has held several leadership roles across the company’s finance organization including chief audit executive for Walmart’s global internal audit team and assistant corporate controller and controller for Walmart Brazil. Most recently, Todd has served as senior vice president, finance, in Walmart International, leading financial planning & analysis for the company’s retail markets outside the United States. Prior to Walmart, Todd worked for Ernst & Young for nearly ten years in the Seattle and San Francisco offices where he specialized in audits of financial institutions. Todd earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his MAcc from BYU. He is a CPA in Washington state and is fluent in Portuguese. Todd and Stacey have four children.
