Biography:
Sam Lee is currently a Research Consultant for the Department of Human Services with the State of Utah. Previous to working at Human Services, Sam was the Program Manager of the State “Home Visiting Program” that serves low-income single mothers with the Utah Department of Health and State Fleet Director with the Utah Department of Administrative Services. Sam completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Brigham Young University. His bachelor’s degree was in Sociology and his master’s degree was in Public Administration with the Romney Institute of Public Management. Sam is a certified mediator and is the owner of a divorce mediation business in Utah County. Sam is active as a volunteer in community services associated with refugees in Utah including “OneRefugee,” “Utah Refugee Connection”, and the “Catholic Community Services Refugee Resettlement Program” in Salt Lake City. Sam is married to Valerie Lee and they have five children. The family has lived Pleasant Grove since 2001.
