Biography:

Michael Dyal retired after 40 years of government service, concluding with 30 years as a city manager. He fulfilled his professional goal of Continuous Improvement and Customer Service while serving as city manager in four states. He was elected nationally to the Executive Board of the International City Management Association.

He was selected to perform short assignments abroad for the US Congress (Romania); the Japan Local Government Center; and a University in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He received an M.S. in Public Administration from Brigham Young University in 1970 and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1968.

Michael and Margaret Young Dyal have been married for 46 years; they have 6 children and 18 grandchildren. They have both served five missions – four of them as a couple in Brazil, Portugal, and Utah.
