Anastasia Jespersen graduated from George Mason University in 1989 with a B.S. in accounting and from Brigham Young University in 1991 with a Master of Public Administration degree. After completing her MPA, Anastasia worked for the Texas State Auditor’s Office as a performance auditor. At the SAO she worked on projects related to the state’s conversion to strategic budgeting, drawing from her accounting and MPA degrees.

In 1994 Anastasia shifted her focus to family, home, and community service. Over the years she has continued to draw on her education to set up accounting systems for small businesses and non-profits, establish parent groups for schools, and serve on community executive boards and committees.

Always looking for new ways to serve and engage with the community, Anastasia is currently attending BYU J. Reuben Clark Law School. Anastasia hopes to provide legal services to individuals and organizations who lack access to legal
representation and to work with local government on various community issues.

Anastasia and her husband, Paul, have four children. They have called Austin, Chicago, northern and southeastern Virginia, Park City, and Colorado home. They currently reside in Provo, Utah.
