Biography:

Debby Lauret is currently the Community and Economic Development Program Manager for Mountainland Association of Government as well as an Orem City councilwoman. She has enjoyed serving the community with council assignments on Planning, Summerfest, and Arts Council. Debby has a passion for helping those in need in our community--volunteering weekly at Tabitha’s way food pantry in American Fork--and has served on their board.

She is a 15 year Rotarian and has enjoyed working on humanitarian projects locally and internationally. She has travelled to Mexico to build homes for the needy. She works on literacy projects with the United Way of Utah County and helps with delivering books to low-income elementary schools. She works with the Cub Scouts as a former Webelos leader and committee chair.

She was formerly the Executive Director of the American Fork Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development for the city of American Fork. She loves to help businesses of all types and sizes to expand and prosper in Utah County.

Her greatest passion is her family. She is a wife, and grandmother of 30 and loves spending time with her grandkids on weekly adventures. Her hobbies include travel, cooking, reading, and theater.
