Biography:

Tim Young is a Human Resources executive currently serving as the Senior Vice President of HR Operations at Pearson. In this role, he leads a team of over 200 people, overseeing payroll, HR shared services, local country HR, HR transformation, and digital experience for 17,000 employees in 60 countries. His work at Pearson involves spearheading transformative initiatives, including the implementation of intelligent automation and AI solutions to modernize HR operations and improve employee experience.

Prior to Pearson, Tim spent over a decade at Cisco Systems, where he held various HR leadership positions. Notably, he led global payroll during a modernization period, managing the day-to-day of $17B in annual payments while overseeing ADP and Workday implementations. He also directed global staffing operations (recruitment coordination) and served as an HR Business Partner for Finance and Sales.

Earlier in his career, Tim served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a Juris Doctor and an MBA from Brigham Young University.

Tim, his wife Rachel, and their five children live near Raleigh, North Carolina.
