Biography:

Ryan currently leads the Human Resource function for the United States and Canada region within the Global Field Operations organization at Honeywell. Ryan was one of the principal architects in the creation of this new HR operating model, which was implemented in 2023. In this role, he is entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing and driving the strategic direction of Global Field Human Resource Operations within the United States and Canada. His key objectives include fostering enhanced collaboration, implementing standardized practices, and improving Human Capital outcomes across the region. Ryan leads a team of 140 Human Resource professionals supporting 35,000 employees at over 150 locations.

Prior to his current role, Ryan served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Electronic Solutions, Law & Contracts and Licensing within the Aerospace division. Notably, Ryan has served as the Vice President of Global Operations within the HR Shared Services Organization and as the HR country leader for Mexico, based in Mexico City. Before joining Honeywell, Ryan held HR leadership roles at two privately help food processing companies, NorSun Foods and Idahoan Foods, both located in the state of Idaho. He has accumulated over 20 years of progressive HR experience across three different companies.

Ryan is fluent in Spanish and has a diverse set of skills and experience. He has lived in three countries (United States, Mexico and Chile) and brings a unique, business first mindset to all he does. Throughout his career, he has excelled at coaching leaders from the factory floor to executive levels while partnering closely with them to enable business success. Ryan thrives on simplifying processes, designing effective organizations, enabling environments of positive employee relations, implementing performance management systems and developing talent and succession strategies throughout the organization.

Ryan holds a B.S. in Organizational Communications from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and four children where he enjoys engaging in his children’s extra-curricular pursuits, reading, and staying as physically active as he can.
