Biography:

Reed Olsen earned his Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University in 2010 and greatly enjoyed his time there. He love participating in various student competitions, winning Analytics and iPhone Development contests, and representing BYU multiple times at the national AITP event. After graduating, he joined Apple and has spent his career shaping experiences across its ecosystem. Reed’s early work focused on building software and systems for Apple Stores and Channel Sales partners, and in 2014 he joined the Apple Watch team to help launch watchOS 1.0. Today, he leads several Watch Software teams responsible for delivering key experiences across the platform.

Reed and his wife, Megan, live in California with their three boys. As a family, they enjoy music, playing games, and traveling together. Outside of work, Reed is a passionate runner, musician, and lifelong learner who loves exploring new hobbies and challenges.
