Biography:

Karen Aranki is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Varex Imaging Corporation, a leading independent supplier of medical and industrial X-ray tubes and image processing solutions. Varex components are used by X-ray imaging system manufacturers worldwide to detect, diagnose, and protect. Varex is headquartered is in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has over 2300 employees in 20 global locations.

Karen has over 27 years of extensive experience in Corporate Human Resources, including executive-level leadership. She has a proven track record of elevating organizational performance across global enterprises and leading companies through growth and transformation, with a keen focus on corporate strategy and people objectives.

Prior to joining Varex Imaging in 2023, she was the Global VP of HR and Communications at Honeywell Aerospace, a $27 billion dollar business with 22,000 employees globally, where she led a large-scale reorganization and restructuring to drive growth. She spent 16 years at Honeywell and previously held HR leadership roles at Motorola, Freescale Semiconductor and Schneider Transportation.

In addition to her extensive background in human capital management, Karen brings expertise and passion in driving employee engagement through the voice of employee actions and communications, community outreach, and management capability development. She is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and brings a data-driven, continuous improvement mindset.

Karen spends her free time with her family and loves health and wellness activities. Karen has a BA in International Relations and a Master’s in Labor Relations and Human Resources Management, both from Michigan State University.
