Bio

Amanda is in product marketing at Lucid Software, where she is primarily focused on developing and bringing new visual collaboration solutions to market. With a bachelor's degree in organic chemistry she's pursued roles that merge her love for science and technology with the opportunity to make an impact. Her passion for problem-solving, innovation and embracing new experiences has carried through a wide variety of industries, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, industrial B2B, consumer goods and SaaS. She's held roles across: process chemistry, engineering, production supervision, internal consulting, CPG brand management and now product marketing. Her unconventional path has given her a broad view of how different industries operate and a unique sense of empathy for the problems her customers and users face. Amanda is energized by product innovation, consumer psychology, and connecting with people through brand development. She received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and her MBA from BYU.

When she's not hanging out at Lucid you can find her hiking with her husband and 3 children, trying out a new Traeger recipe or playing on the North Shore of Hawaii, where she grew up.

How can you give?

As someone who has worked across a variety of industries I am uniquely suited to help career switchers pivot into a new field and help new graduates figure out where they want to start their career. I can help students find their story and learn how to speak across different audiences to convey their value. I'm an advocate for taking risks and embracing change and helping others find their courage to do so. I am a strong advocate for authenticity in the workplace, owning your story and bringing your unique power to everything you do. I would love to help students on their journey of self-empowerment, combating imposter syndrome and bringing their whole-self to work. Additionally, as a mother of 3, and one-half of a duo-income household, I would love to support other women who are trying to figure out what their path forward might look like as both a woman and a working mother.
