Biography:
M. Wesley Mashburn is President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Deseret Trust Company, an integrated auxiliary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that provides charitable gift administration for those who support the priorities of the Church. Prior to joining Deseret Trust Company, Wes worked for the United States Senate, the Nevada Supreme Court, a law firm, and, for 19 years, the Philanthropies Department of the Church as a director, senior manager, and charitable gift planning specialist.
He is a member of several philanthropic planning organizations. Wes graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University and earned his Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. He also served in the Peru Arequipa Mission. A native of Orlando, Florida, Wes and his wife Janine have four children and four grandchildren, and they live in Lindon, Utah.
