Biography:
Ben is co-founder and former president of Entrata, Inc., a leading provider of property management software to the apartment industry. Ben graduated from Brigham Young University and co-wrote the business plan that won the national business plan competition sponsored by Fortune Small Business Magazine that same year. He and other co-founders launched the company in 2003 and over the next 15 years grew Entrata to $120 million in annual revenue, $20 billion in annual payment processing, and 1,600 employees—all with no venture capital. Ben has served for many years as a board member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and a mission partner for the National Apartment Association. He has authored articles for TechCrunch, Entrepreneur.com, and other publications and has been featured on the covers of Fortune Small Business Magazine and Entrepreneur Magazine. In his free time, Ben likes to play with his wife, Lauren, and their five daughters, hike, mountain bike, canoe, and have fun in the outdoors.
