Biography:

Mr. Joel Van Cott has worked in public accounting for over 20 years with Deloitte and is currently the managing partner of the Salt Lake City office. Joel is the lead client service partner of consumer business, manufacturing, and financial services companies and also serves as the concurring review partner of various public and private companies. He also serves several multi-national clients with international operations and is well-versed in group audits and managing component teams.

Joel’s experience includes assisting clients with addressing various technical matters, including SEC registration statements and reporting requirements, capital transactions, business combinations and purchase accounting, and internal control analysis. Joel resides in South Jordan, Utah with his wife and their four children and is an avid outdoorsman.
