Biography:
Ron Gardner was born in Provo, UT and raised in Orem. Ron graduated from Orem High School and served an LDS mission in Recife, Brazil. After returning home from his mission, he married his high school sweetheart, Annette Manning, and started to work at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center (UVRMC). He graduated from Utah Valley University (UVU) with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has a master’s degree from BYU in Public Administration.
While working at UVRMC, Ron participated in a hospital administration internship. During his internship Ron participated on a project that worked to free up hospital beds. This project involved him working with long-term care providers such as assisted living and nursing homes. This project also introduced Ron to a new career path and new homes in both San Diego and Philadelphia where he was the executive director for assisted living and memory care communities.
In 2010 Ron returned to Utah to continue in the same industry and is currently a regional vice president for Atria Senior Living. Ron loves his work and finds it very rewarding to help those in need and work with the wonderful people that take care of our aging population.
Ron has three beautiful daughters and enjoys spending as much time with them and his beautiful wife as he possibly can. Ron also loves the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and making pizzas in their backyard fire brick oven.
